High-risk merchant accounts

A merchant account placed with an acquirer that has written your vertical before, on terms you see in full before you sign.

In one line

The account itself, banked deliberately.

What it is

A merchant account is the thing everything else hangs from: the agreement between you, an acquiring bank and the card networks that lets you take a card and receive the money. In restricted verticals the difficulty is never the technology. It is finding a sponsor bank whose written policy covers what you sell, and getting terms that survive the first portfolio review.

We are an ISO. That means we do not underwrite you ourselves — we take your file to the acquirers whose current policy fits it, and we know which those are because we submit to them every week. The value is in not wasting your application on a bank that was never going to write it.

Capabilities

What you get, specifically.

Placement against current policy

Acquirer appetite moves quarter to quarter. Your file goes to banks writing your MCC now, not to a list that was accurate last year.

Terms in writing before signature

Discount rate, per-transaction fee, monthly volume cap, per-transaction cap, reserve rate and term, and the conditions under which any of them can change.

Multiple MIDs where it helps

A second account with a different sponsor bank is redundancy against the failure mode that actually happens in restricted verticals — a bank exiting a category.

A named person on the account

The same account manager from submission through boarding and after. Not a ticket queue.

Rows reading set at underwriting are not omissions. Those figures are decided per merchant against your vertical, volume and history, and you will see all of them in writing before you sign.

Tell us what you sell.

Before anything sensitive changes hands, we will tell you whether a route exists for your vertical, roughly what shape it takes, and what underwriting will ask you for.
